Dear Santa,
I'm a 12-year-old boy from New Haven, CT and I really need your help this Christmas. My mom is going through a really hard time right now. We lost my uncle and aunt just a few weeks apart, and it's been so tough on my mom. She was really close to them, and I can tell she's been feeling down and stressed out.
This Christmas is going to be the first one without them, and my mom is trying so hard to make it special for me. But I can see how much it's weighing on her. She's been worrying a lot about money and how she's going to fill up the Christmas tree with presents. I just want her to be able to relax and enjoy the holiday, instead of stressing.
Santa, is there any way you could help me out? I know money is tight, but if you could bring some extra gifts for under the tree, I think it would mean the world to my mom. She deserves to have one less thing to worry about this year. All I want is for her to be able to focus on spending time with me and remembering my uncle and aunt, instead of stressing about the presents.
I promise I've been a good kid this year and I'll keep being good. I just really want to see the shine come back in my mom's eyes this Christmas. Anything you can do to help would be so appreciated. Thank you, Santa. I hope you and the reindeer have a great holiday!
Your friend,
Elijah.
