Greetings. My name is Janice Blount. I am a of course single mother of four and I currently reside in Huntsville, Texas after being under witness protection since 2020 from a domestic violence situation. I have four children.

Our financial hardship basically started when we fleed the children’s dad back in 2021. We were immediately house in a domestic violence shelter program where we stayed at the shelter in as well as various hotels for at least about a year until the program was over. The program assisted me and relocating and changing me and my children’s identity for the safety of our well-being. The children’s dad was placed under a five-year protective order, which is still currently active to this der. Being so far away now it is very difficult to find suitable employment that is worth traveling over 45 minutes to being that I live in a severely rural area.
I am really praying , and grateful for anything that me and my family can receive as a result of this program. I pray that God finds it in anyone’s hard to just award my children with at least one one gift and it does not matter which caliber it is off. My seven year old child is GT and my four year old girl is just now in pre-K and Elementary. I have no behavior concerns from the teacher nor any academic concerns when it comes to my children’s education. They exceed above and abundantly at everything they put their mind to just like their mom. It would want my heart to be able to at least give them a small Christmas celebration and decorations, and teach them about this program and people who are out in this world to help others quite like myself, but I have allowed people to take advantage of me in so many ways in my history.
