Hello,
This is my first time doing something like this. I can only imagine how many people are struggling out there. With the economy, it is hard nowadays to even survive. I am a mom of 2 kids. Isabella, 8 years old and Santiago 14. I have been blessed with these amazing kids and am thankful for life. I have been a single parent for 14 years and we've had a lot of ups and downs. Sometimes I wonder how I manage to keep up with bills and feeding my kids. It is impossible to eat healthy, nonetheless eat. Fortunately we have a home and health and there is always food on the table but I find myself struggling to keep afloat. We come from a domestic violence home. Alexis and I had to leave our home and lived in our car for a few weeks. Fortunately life has given us a lot of opportunities to strive and keep swimming. We've had a lot of ups and downs but we've managed to strive. This is why I referenced my letter Resilience. This is what has gotten us through. I'm not even sure on how or what to request through this letter since this is the first time I do this. Even thought we've managed to survive in this economy there are several things that my family needs. Clothing and shoes being the most important. My kids have been asking for electric scooters since they walk to school. Hopefully you can make their wishes come true !!! We don't have a special requirement for the scooter. My daughter is 8 years old and weighs 80 lbs and my son is 14 and he weighs 150. As long as they're both electric and can support their weight.
