I am so frustrated and scared and heartbroken. My s/o just told me that he thinks we need to take a break and that he needs some space and of course he did this right before Christmas. Our bills are so entangled and I let him convince me that he had me no matter what and so I don’t have a savings anymore and now I have two boys and no way to provide Christmas. I never made a lot of money and I still work but I had no back up savings and my checking account has almost nothing in it because he’s always taken care of us I was stupid to let it get to that point, but I did. Of course, I told my boys Christmas is not about gifts. It’s about family and love but they are 9 and 13 so I guess this will be a year for learning that lesson.
