Dear Santa's Knights and his Elves,
Hello! My name is Bobby Wines and I am known by Braxton, and my other two grandchildren, as Pa. I take a lot of pride in my role, as I am sure Santa does in his! Unfortunately, our income is such that it knocks us out of eligibility for most social assistance programs, but is not enough to make ends meet!!! WE ARE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY and we receive NO SUPPORT in raising our grandson, who has very special needs!!!
Christmas 2026 is looking very BLEAK and SLIM this year, despite the fact that Braxton is asking for a computer, a VR gaming system, a PS 5 gaming system, and other things that make me cringe when I wonder how I will ever afford to fulfill his Christmas wishes!!!
Braxton came to live with us after he had been abused and neglected. He suffered tremendously and we didn’t know the half of it until he came to live with us full-time in November of last year.
To put it simply, we are struggling! That’s the reason we are turning to Operation Santa for help with Christmas this year!!! Braxton has been through so much, but despite that fact he strives daily to overcome the ADHD and PTSD that he suffers from. His autism makes life a struggle sometimes, but he rises above the diagnosis to try to live as normal a life as possible.
Basically, he’s the best little boy you could imagine, and despite the fact that he has already seen the darker side of life, he works hard everyday to make us proud!!! Santa, he has been a wonderful boy this year!!!
Because Braxton is homeschooled through Faith Missionary Academy (based in Grundy County, Tennessee) he could really use a computer for Christmas this year! Now, we know this is a big-ticket item, but I promise you it would be very well cared for and monitored by Grammie and I!!!
Braxton also enjoys playing with cars, video games, and Star Wars toys! These are some less expensive alternatives!
