Helping give these babies everything they need
My niece and nephews have been through more than any child should ever have to experience due to abuse and neglect from their parents. After my niece attempted to take her own life, so much more came to light about what they had been going through.
After she spent time in the hospital, I stepped in and took full custody of her and her two brothers because no one else in our family was willing to take them in. I have been doing everything I possibly can to give these kids the love, stability, safety, and support they deserve, but honestly, it has been incredibly difficult. I never expected to suddenly be taking on three more children, and they arrived with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
I'm doing my best to make sure they have everything they need and feel like they finally have a safe place to call home. The list they put together is actually very small, and anything at all would mean so much to them and to me. Whether it's something from their list, a necessity, or even just sharing every bit with help them have a genuine Christmas. Thank you 🫶
