Ending A Tough Year With A Smile Memphis,"TN"

Hello,

I'm so blessed to have found this organization while seeking holiday assistance this year.

It has indeed been a very rough year for my family. I am seeking help because earlier this year I fell ill and was hospitalized for weeks causing me to lose my job then my home. My family was forced to sleep in my vehicle parked at a hospital for over 4 months. We had to start squatting after I lost my car. Everything went downhill and I didn't know what to do. I reached out to several organizations but they either had no funds or had an extremely long waitlist but I didn't give up. In the midst of it all I had 4 very close family members, my grandmother on my dad side, my dad, my grandma on my mom's side and my oldest sister all passed this year back to back. I was responsible for caring for my 3 children and my sister's daughter as well since no one would take her.

My children has been through so much this year and they have never complained once. Even when they found out they would be repeating the grade they were in due to attendance because we were displaced. They were always there trying to help me when I am the parent. They truly deserve to end the year happy with us all together . Christmas is my youngest daughter, Madison's birthday and I want to try my best to make it special even though she didn't really ask for much. I just want to end the year with them smiling Thank You
