christmas prayers.
I’m a 21-year-old mom and college student doing everything I can to support my baby while working as a waiter, even though I barely make enough to cover our basic needs I’m also currently enlisted in the military and waiting to hear back about a medical waiver so I can know when I’ll be leaving for training.
My biggest reason for joining the military and pushing myself so hard is not only to give my son a better life, but to help my mom and my two siblings finally escape the domestic-violence situation they’ve been living in for years. We don’t have family to lean on, so I want my mom to know she has me that I’m here to help all of us move toward safety and stability.
This Christmas is especially difficult. since we don’t have the means to provide gifts for my one-year-old or for my younger siblings, and any support during this time would truly mean the world to us. especially a prayer would be really meaning full for us while we wait to hear any news.
