Dear Santa from My Mom in Las Vegas, NV
I am writing this letter as a single mom, My daughter is 16 years old and as you know on July 16th 2024 We lost our rental home of 9 years to an electrical fire. My daughter is still mourning the loss of our beloved pet Boxer and her Cat named DumDum, along with literally everything we owned. I am praying for a Christmas miracle. My child needs a warm jacket and a pair of warm Pjs. Even though She is old enough to know all about Santa, She still believes in miracles. It was a miracle that we made it out of the house unharmed.
We have been attending grief counseling and My daughter ended our last session with these words. "Momma it's ok that I lost all my books, and clothes, I know Harley and DumDum are in Heaven, But its ok momma, Because God didn't take you away". That's the reason I am writing to you. She is the most amazing kid. She is on the honor roll. She sees me struggle and never asks for anything. I am asking for her.
